Hmm, tell me more about cruises in Croatia and the country itself

There are a few different ways to get to Croatia from Australia. The most popular way is to fly into Dubrovnik or Split, as most cruises in Croatia depart from these two cities. Another option is to land in Zagreb, the capital of Croatia, and then take a car or bus to your departure port.

All our cruises depart either from the Dubrovnik port situated in Gruz (roughly 3 km northwest of the Old Town) or the Split port, practically located in the town centre and main promenade (Riva).

There are a few different ways to get from Dubrovnik Airport to Gruz port, and the best option for you will depend on your budget and preferences. The most affordable option is to take a shuttle bus, which will take approximately 30 minutes.
If you’re looking for a more comfortable ride, you can take a taxi or book a private transfer with Adriterra Travel. Most Luxury Croatia cruises already include private transfers in the package.

Different transportation options are available to get from Split Airport to Split port. The most affordable option is to take a bus, which will take approximately half an hour.
If you want a smoother ride, you can either take a taxi or arrange a private transfer with Adriterra Travel. Many of our Luxury cruises in Croatia already comprise private transfers in the overall price. Please check this link for more information.

If you’re thinking of visiting Croatia, you might be wondering if it’s an expensive country to travel to. While prices in popular tourist destinations like Dubrovnik, Split, Hvar, and Korcula can be higher than average, overall Croatia is not a particularly expensive country. Compared to Australia, for example, Croatia is actually quite affordable.

Croatia is a member of the European Union and as of January 2023, the country has adopted the Euro (EUR) as its official currency, Therefore, the old Croatian currency Kuna (HRK) is no longer in use.

As travel evolves, we strongly believe, more and more people will be interested in exploring new places via small ships.

People are attracted to cruises on smaller ships for many reasons, including increased relaxation, lack of queues and crowds, improved safety, and authentic experiences. In addition, small ships are generally better for the environment than their large counterparts.
As we begin to travel again, consumers will be looking for ways to reduce their environmental footprint and support companies that are leaders in sustainability.
